This dramatic before and after transformation of a dining room table is right in sync with the weathered paint trends, barn wood and farmhouse craze that’s so strong in decor right now. I sanded the top of the table with an orbital sander, then wiped down with a deglosser. Next I primed the entire table and bench with Stix primer, (a bonding primer from Benjamin Moore) I left this dry for 24 hours as recommended then painted a full coverage coat of Annie Sloan Country Grey. When that was dry I added accent  dry brushing with Annie Sloan Paris Grey.  The next step was putting in graining and distressing with Benjamin Moore Cloud white,  When completely dry i sealed with a dark tinted carnauba wax. The end result is a fabulous faux finished barnwood table that will last for years!
